Przedsiębiorstwo SIMET S.A. is implementing a project entitled: Increasing energy efficiency, using RES with the storage of renewable energy at SIMET S.A., which received financial support from the European Union under Action 3.01 Environmental credit within the framework of the European Funds for Modern Economy 2021-2027 Programme co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Tasks carried out as part of the project:
- Modernisation of the cooling installation, in particular the replacement of the existing chillers into modern units with a freecooling system.
- Construction of a photovoltaic installation and an energy storage facility on the roofs of the manufacturing halls, enabling the production and storage of renewable energy exclusively for own use.
- Preparing the audit document.
The project is implemented on the premises of the manufacturing plant in Jelenia Góra.
Przedsiębiorstwo SIMET S.A. is the beneficiary of the project.
The aim of the project is to increase energy efficiency and change one of the sources of electricity used in the operations of Przedsiębiorstwo SIMET S.A. into renewable energy.
The implementation of the project will allow increasing energy efficiency of the production processes, reducing the Company energy consumption and limiting the primary energy consumption.
