These surge arresters are intended for connection to the DC side of photovoltaic installations with a voltage range up to 1000 V. The devices include a nonlinear element (varistor) and they are designed to limit impulse voltages and reverse surge currents. They are intended only for installation on the DC side of photovoltaic generators and the DC side of inverters.
