As the leading Polish manufacturer of electrical equipment, we have been offering all installers the products meeting high standards in the world of electrical engineering for as long as 50 years.
QUALIFIED STAFF, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
SIMET S.A. puts great emphasis on improving the existing portfolio as well as launching new products, which are created from scratch in our plant located in Jelenia Góra, Poland. Our R&D Department develops designs, creates prototypes with the support of modern NX CAD and NX CAM software.
At the same time, we cooperate with scientific centers in order to constantly improve the qualifications of SIMET S.A. employees and keep up with the innovations of the ever-changing electrical engineering market. Experienced engineers take up continuous efforts to modernize our products and implement new solutions. Our know-how and determination to remain the leader in electrical engineering industry means that we are constantly anticipating the needs of installers to make their work with our products easier, mainly with our junction boxes, of which we are very proud.
MODERN MACHINE PARK
Our main production activity is manufacturing plastic and metal products for the needs of electrical engineering industry.
Owing to our high-end machinery, in particular dozens of hydraulic and electric injection molding machines as well as automatic assembly lines, we are able to implement the most innovative ideas to meet the needs and requirements of our customers and people working with our products.
TOOL ROOM
Production support is provided by our own Tool Room used to manufacture and service injection molds applied in plastics processing. Having our own Tool Room ensures SIMET S.A. unlimited control over the entire design and production process. Years of experience protect us from unnecessary waste of time and allow avoiding mistakes. Our staff is a treasure trove of knowledge from the creation of an injection mold and tools to the production of the final product.
INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
In addition, SIMET S.A. is involved in extensive cooperation activities, as it has been cooperating for years with other domestic and foreign entities in terms of supplying partners with plastic and metal components for their own production. We have been developing our know-how along with some of the largest international companies from both Europe and the entire world, particularly in the automotive industry.
STORAGE INFRASTRUCTURE
The space at our disposal allows for optimal inventory management. SIMET S.A. performs its operations in modern production halls with a total production and storage area of 17.1 thousand m², located along the main traffic artery of Jelenia Góra. Modern storage infrastructure and a high quality storage management system enable the company to control production and logistics processes as well as promptly respond to the changing market needs.
SUPPORT FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
SIMET S.A. has been supporting and offering employment to people with disabilities since its establishment. Our company is the largest sheltered workshop in the region, where more than half of the employees are disabled people. We are a several-time winner of the nationwide “Lodołamacze” (“Icebreakers”) competition for the socially sensitive employers organized by the Polish Organization of Disabled Persons’ Employers.
MEMBERSHIP IN ORGANIZATIONS
SIMET S.A. is a member of the Technical Committee operating under the Polish Committee for Standardization, namely: for Electrical Installations and Lightning Protection of Buildings; for Electrical Installation Equipment; for Circuit Breakers; and for Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear.
The Polish Economic Chamber of Electrotechnics is an organization of economic self-government and represents the industry, scientific institutes, laboratories, suppliers of materials, machinery and technology for the purposes of electrical engineering industry. Simet S. A. is a member and an active participant in its activities.
